2. Operators must wear safety helmets, insulating gloves, and rubber-soled shoes to meet the dress requirements for safe operations; they must also accept safety technical briefings and be familiar with operating procedures.
3. A special processing shed should be set up for outdoor operations, and a storage area for raw materials, semi-finished products and finished products should be set up next to the machine.
4. When processing long steel bars, there should be dedicated personnel to help and follow the operator’s instructions. Do not push, pull or drag at will.
5. The work table for receiving and feeding materials should be kept level with the lower part of the cutter, and the length of the work table should be determined according to the length of the material to be processed.
6. Before starting the machine, check and confirm that the cutter has no cracks, the cutter holder bolts are tight, and the protective cover is securely installed; then turn the pulley by hand, check the gear meshing clearance, and gradually adjust the cutter clearance.
7. After the machine is started, it should be run dry for a period of time. After checking that the transmission parts and bearings are operating normally, the cutting operation can be carried out.
8. When the machine does not reach the normal speed, no cutting is allowed. When cutting, the middle and lower parts of the cutter should be used, hold the steel bar tightly and align it with the cutting edge and quickly throw it in. The operator should stand on the side of the fixed blade and press the steel bar hard to prevent the end of the steel bar from popping out and injuring people. It is strictly forbidden to hold the steel bar with both hands on both sides of the blade and lean over to feed.
9. Do not cut steel bars whose diameter and strength exceed those specified on the machine nameplate. When cutting multiple steel bars at one time, their total cross-sectional area should be within the specified range.
10. When cutting low-strength alloy steel, the high-hardness cutter should be replaced, and the shearing diameter should comply with the requirements on the machine nameplate.
11. When cutting short materials, the distance between the hand and the cutter should be kept above 150mm. If the hand grip is less than 400mm, a sleeve or clamp should be used to press or clamp the short end of the steel bar.
12. During the operation of the machine, it is strictly forbidden to use hands to directly remove broken ends and debris near the cutter, and non-operators are not allowed to stay next to the machine.
13. When you find that the machine is not operating normally, makes abnormal noises, or the cutter is skewed, you should stop the machine immediately for maintenance.
14. Before operating the hydraulically driven cutting machine, check and confirm that the hydraulic oil level and motor rotation direction meet the requirements. After starting, it should be operated without load, the oil release valve should be loosened, and the air in the cylinder should be drained before cutting off.
15. Before using the manual hydraulic cutting machine, the oil drain valve should be tightened clockwise. After cutting, it should be loosened counterclockwise immediately. After operation, the cutting machine should be held steady and insulating gloves should be worn.

After the operation is completed, the power supply should be cut off, the debris between the cutters should be removed with a steel brush, and the entire machine should be cleaned, lubricated, and maintained. At the same time, the finished products are sorted and stacked, the site is cleaned, and the switch box is locked.
